- 100 gr Bahçıvan Parmesan Cheese
- 1 turkey leg
- 1 orange
- 1 red onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 dessert spoon of flour
- 3 teaspoon of salt
- Oven bag
For the sauce;
- 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon of Bahçıvan Butter
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 sprigs of fresh thyme
- 3 sprigs of rosemary
Chop the red onions and carrots.
Then take the onions and carrots in an orange bowl and blend them with salt and olive oil.
Flour the inside of the baking sack. Place the mixture with the turkey thigh in the baking bag.
Cover the mouth of the bag and make holes in it with a toothpick.
In the preheated 200 degree oven, bake for 15 minutes, then turn the temperature to 180 and bake for another 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, grate the peels of 1 orange and squeeze the juice.
Prepare the sauce by mixing butter, honey, salt and pepper with orange juice.
At the end of 25 minutes, take the turkey leg out of the oven bag and put it on a tray, pour the sauce on it and cook in the oven for 1 more hour.
Pour the water in the tray on the leg occasionally to prevent the turkey from drying out.
After cooking, garnish with parmesan grater, fresh thyme and rosemary and serve.
